Emile Haddad is the President and Chief Executive Officer of FivePoint Communities, a real estate management company, that manages the master planned communities of Newhall/Valencia in Los Angeles County, the Great Park Neighborhoods, formerly known as the El Toro Marine Base in Irvine, Hunters Point/Candlestick Park and Treasure Island in San Francisco.
Prior to co-founding FivePoint Communities, Emile was the Chief Investment Officer of Lennar Corporation, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, where he was in charge of the company’s real estate investments and asset management. Emile was a founding member of Lennar in California, and was instrumental in its growth.
Emile has over 30 years of development experience in the United States and overseas. Prior to joining Lennar, Emile was a senior executive in charge of land for Bramalea, which was part of the Canadian real estate conglomerate in the 80’s and early 90’s.
Emile holds a civil engineering degree from the American University of Beirut. Emile is a Trustee at (UCI) University of California, Irvine and chairs its Strategic Planning Committee. He is also on the Real Estate Advisory Boards of UCI, and the University of California, Berkeley. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors at PBS (Public Broadcasting System) So-Cal and previously served on the Boards of CHOC (Children’s Hospital Orange County) and Home-Aid.
Emile spends his time away from business with Dina, his wife of 26 years, and their two children, Serene 22 and Marc 16.
